Who Can Apply
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology
- 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Cloud Architecture
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environments and disaster recovery planning
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and disaster recovery solutions
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), including development and implementation
- Experience with cybersecurity incident response and cloud security best practices
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and experience implementing compliant systems
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Business Continuity certifications (CBCP) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to define complex technical problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions
- Strategic planning capabilities with the ability to establish long-term technology roadmaps
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage a multi-tenant Azure architecture focused on high availability and rapid disaster recovery
- Lead the development, testing, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
- Develop and refine technical contract requirements to ensure vendors meet disaster recovery standards and recovery objectives
- Coordinate and facilitate disaster recovery tabletop exercises with internal teams and external vendors
- Plan and execute annual disaster recovery testing across vendor-managed and district-hosted applications
- Implement automated failover and recovery solutions for cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to integrate cybersecurity defense measures into cloud architecture
- Develop offline process playbooks and contingency strategies to ensure business continuity during prolonged outages
- Support incident response activities and disaster recovery initiatives across the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
